Sales Representative - Massachusetts

The Massachusetts Sales Representative is responsible for business-to-business sales of Systematics and Spacesaver related products and services. We are seeking individuals who have excelled at academics or athletics with a four year college degree, a minimum of 2-3 years business-to-business sales experience, highly motivated, and seeking to earn top dollar in our field of business. Extensive daily travel within Suffolk County in Boston, Massachusetts is required for this position.

Sales Representative - Connecticut

As a Sales Representative working out of the Systematics www.systematicsinc.com Regional Sales office located in Meriden, Connecticut you will be responsible for bringing profitable sales to the company by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of all sales positions:

Sales - Responsible to bring profitable sales to the company.  Represent Systematics in a professional manner and to be known as an expert in the field of filing and storage systems.

Territory Development - Responsible for effectively penetrating designated territory to reach goals set with the Sales Manager.  Including but not limited to:  net sales, number of sales calls, and number of new prospects.

Product Knowledge - Responsible to acquire and maintain maximum knowledge of the essential details of every product and service assigned  to represent including but not limited to:  Catalogs, Price Lists, Specification Sheets, Sales Manuals, Demo Kits, Company Policy and Product Memos.  Will study competitive products, reports and observe existing installations.

Reports – Maintain and complete all necessary reports in the time limits required.  Including but not limited to: 90 day plans, Lead Status, Project Reporting, and Expense Reports.

Travel – Regional travel within the territory is required up to 10-25%.

Project/Administrative Support - 3/2008

As a key member of a Regional Sales Office you will have responsibility to establish and/or refine administrative office policy and procedures for a remote sales office located in Meriden, Connecticut.  In addition to your administrative duties, you will be responsible for providing timely, technical sales support with accurate responses to all inquiries and mandatory follow-up on forecasted sales opportunities and assist in the sales process in accordance with company policy and standards.  A background in customer service and technical sales support is desired.  This is a key member of the regional sales office, providing administrative, sales support, and marketing to a remote sales team.  You will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

Education & Experience:

Associate’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred plus one year of experience providing technical sales support or a high school degree and four years of related experience.   A background in customer service is a plus for this position.

You will excel in this position with your strong knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software.  Knowledge of and proficiency in draw to price software is preferred.

This position is located in Meriden, Connecticut.  Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime.
